What if my dentist is not on the Dentist Direct panel?
Some Dentist Direct plans offer in and out-of-network benefits. However, you can minimize out of pocket costs by referring your dentist to us through the “Refer a Provider” link. We will contact them to offer membership on the Dentist Direct panel.
If we enroll in Dentist Direct, will my employees have waiting periods?
Dentist Direct is HIPAA compliant, and will credit any waiting periods completed under previous comparable credible coverage.
How do I obtain additional supplies for my employees?
You may print any forms provided in the “Forms and Documents” sections of the website. Or, you can call 1-866-MY-MOLAR (1-866-696-6527) to order additional supplies.
When will I receive my bill each month?
Your bill for the following month should arrive by the 20th of each month. Payment is due on the 1st of each month.
When will our ID cards arrive? How do I order replacement cards?
Typically, ID cards arrive via mail within 2 weeks. Replacement cards can be ordered by calling 1-866-MY-MOLAR (1-866-696-6527).
When do new employees become eligible for the dental plan?
New employees are eligible to be added to the plan as soon as they fulfill the eligibility waiting period set forth by the employer. Employees may enroll in Dentist Direct within 30 days after they become eligible.
Is the employer required to contribute towards the premium?
No. Dentist Direct offers Voluntary plans requiring no employer contribution. We also offer Contributory plans requiring a minimum employer contribution of 50% of the single premium.
